Contraindications and Precautions

The EMSella treatment is not suitable for all patients. It is contraindicated in the following situations, among others:

  • Pregnancy.
  • Patients with a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other implanted electronic device.
  • Presence of metal implants in the pelvic region.
  • Use of an intrauterine device (IUD), depending on its type and composition.
  • Presence of a metal genital piercing.
