Intimate mesotherapy

Over the years, some women experience discomfort with their intimacy. Among the most frequent symptoms, women report :

Did you know? These discomforts are linked to atrophy of the labia majora and loss of tone, elasticity and hydration of the mucous membranes.

The labia majora have 3 important protective functions:

• Protective closure for vaginal entrance to preserve natural moisture
• Shock absorber to protect mucous membranes from friction or impact (jeans, bicycle saddle, horse saddle, etc.)
• Clitoral wrapping to enhance sexual pleasure

For women suffering from aesthetic discomfort and/or embarrassment, there are two main treatments: hyaluronic acid, which fills the labia majora and moisturizes the mucous membranes; and laser treatment, which restores elasticity and trophicity to the vulvar and vaginal mucous membranes. This laser has also shown extremely interesting results in the treatment of lichen sclerosus, a disabling disease of the mucous membranes.

These treatments are all carried out by Dr Sophie Pierre; you are comfortably seated on a gynecological chair in a quiet, discreet environment. No treatment is painful. These treatments are performed at the Clinique Matignon in Lausanne only.

Mona Lisa Touch

The Mona Lisa Touch laser is a latest-generation device that has recently revolutionized intimate comfort for women.

3 laser sessions are required, spaced one month apart. Each session lasts about 15 minutes.
This treatment is virtually painless (slight warming sensation). A few days must be observed without sexual intercourse, but daily activities, sports and water sports can be resumed immediately.

May be renewed 1x a year.

Vaginal mesotherapy

Vaginal mesotherapy involves applying a hyaluronic acid gel specially formulated for the intimate area, using diffuse tingling movements on the back wall of the vagina. For a pain-free treatment, an anaesthetic gel is applied 30 minutes before the session.

Although this procedure is very quick, you should allow a few hours for treatment, including the application of anaesthetic gel. Treatment twice a year.

Hyaluronic acid

Filling of the labia majora is performed by injection of a hyaluronic acid gel, the texture of which is specially adapted to this area. One session is required for the first injection, and sometimes a 2nd session after 1 month is necessary for optimum results.

The session lasts around 45 minutes and is performed with a small local anaesthetic at the injection site. Overall, it’s very comfortable. You may feel a little discomfort when rubbing or pressing for 2-3 days, and any haematomas will disappear within a week.

Maintenance is normally carried out every 18 months.

Results are visible from the very first session, and reach their peak after the last. Wearing clothes is more pleasant, and contact with your partner during intercourse provides more pleasure. If intercourse was painful, the improvement is often spectacular, thanks to better hydration of the mucous membranes and improved vaginal elasticity (particularly with the Monalisa laser). Other symptoms, such as bladder weakness, recurrent infections and mucous membrane disorders (lichen sclerosus), tend to disappear during the first few sessions.
In short, you’re back to comfort and well-being!
