The goal of this surgery?

Create real improvement, harmonious, natural and satisfying.

The final result takes shape gradually, between two and three months after treatment. This is the time needed for the breasts to regain their suppleness and for the implants to stabilize naturally.

The procedure increases the volume and improves the shape of the breasts, while respecting the harmony of the body. Scars are generally discreet and well positioned.

Volume remains stable over time, except in the event of major weight variations.

In terms of shape and support, breasts with implants evolve like natural breasts: gravity and time do their work, depending on the quality of the skin and the size of the implant chosen.

How do you choose the right size and shape for your implants?

At Matignon, every patient is unique – and so is her project. The choice of breast implant size and shape is a key step, influencing the harmony of the result as much as daily comfort. It’s about finding the right balance between your desires, your figure and our expertise.

Our aesthetic surgeon will guide you through an entirely personalized approach, true to the Matignon philosophy: natural elegance, attention to detail and attentive listening.

During the consultation, we take the time to analyze your entire anatomy: the shape and size of your breasts, the quality of your skin, the width of your bust, your posture, and even your lifestyle habits.

To help you plan your project with peace of mind, we use 3D simulation tools to visualize different scenarios. So you can move forward with confidence, guided by expert advice and a sharp aesthetic eye.

Most of the time, Dr Julien Brilmaker proposes a composite breast augmentation, i.e. an implant under the gland (and not under the muscle) combined with lipofilling, which gives a very natural result.
At Matignon, our commitment is simple: to enhance your femininity while preserving the authenticity of your silhouette. We work with you to create a result that’s tailor-made, refined and deeply in tune with who you are.

Silicone breast implants: quality, safety and personalization.

At Matignon, breast augmentations are performed with silicone implants from the Motiva, B-Lite and Polytech brands, renowned for their reliability, safety and the quality of their aesthetic results.

Our surgeon will personally assist you in choosing the implant best suited to your morphology, lifestyle and expectations.

Implants are designed to last for many years, but regular follow-up is essential. In some cases, implant replacement may be considered after 10 to 15 years.

Price details

The price includes the operation, implants, conscious sedation, post-operative check-ups, painkillers, a special bra to be worn for 6 weeks (check-ups 2-6 weeks).

Hospitalization

Stopping time

1 week.

Back to sport

In general, gentle sport after 4 weeks, and full return after 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the patient.

Before the operation

A consultation with our plastic surgeon is necessary.

It is recommended not to take any medication, and to fast for 6 hours.

The intervention

Every patient is unique.

That’s why the surgeon adapts his or her strategy according to your morphology, expectations and aesthetic goals.

Most of the time, Dr Julien Brilmaker proposes a composite breast augmentation, i.e. an implant under the gland (and not under the muscle) combined with lipofilling, which gives a very natural result, depending on what is most consistent with your figure and the desired result. The incision, for its part, can be discreetly positioned around the areola, under the armpit or in the submammary fold.

At the end of the procedure, the special bra is fitted to support the new shape.

After the operation

Two post-operative check-ups are planned at 2 and 6 weeks, and a special bra must be worn for 6 weeks. Resumption of sport will be indicated by the doctor, generally after 4 weeks.

For whom can this treatment make a difference?

This treatment is for women who find their breasts too small, not harmonious enough, or who simply want more volume or a shape that suits them.

Whether due to genetics, weight variations or pregnancy-related changes, breast augmentation can help you reconnect with your body, with confidence.

More curves, more lift, more confidence.

At what age is breast augmentation appropriate?

To be eligible for breast augmentation, you must have reached the age of majority.
Determining an “ideal” age for this type of treatment remains tricky, as each situation is unique.

What really counts is a thorough consultation, so that the patient can make her decision with full confidence and awareness.

If you’re planning to become a mother, keep in mind that breasts can change during and after pregnancy.

And in the case of breast augmentation at a very young age, it’s essential to consider that the breasts will continue to evolve with time and the body’s natural aging process.

Does my health insurance cover the cost of breast augmentation?

No. As this is a cosmetic treatment, it is not covered by health insurance.
At Matignon, cost transparency is part of the process: no nasty surprises, everything is clear from the outset.

Can I breastfeed after breast augmentation?

Yes, in the vast majority of cases, breastfeeding is still possible after breast augmentation.
The implant is placed either behind the muscle or behind the mammary gland, without interfering with the milk ducts.
During the consultation, our surgeon assesses your anatomy and your plans for motherhood, in order to best adapt the technique used.

Are implants detectable by touch?

With the right implant size and the right indication, implants are barely perceptible to the touch.
The result is natural, both visually and to the touch.
The positioning of the implant and the quality of the skin and tissues also play an important role in the final result.
At Matignon, the aim is always to achieve harmonious, elegant and authentic breasts.

Is it painful?

Breast augmentation is performed under general anesthesia: you feel no pain during the procedure.
In the days that follow, a feeling of tension is common, especially if the implants are placed under the muscle.
Painkillers are systematically prescribed to ensure optimal comfort.
In general, pain is well controlled and gradually subsides over a few days.

Location of intervention.

The procedure takes place at a partner clinic in Lausanne.
